Seneca Place is excited to share resident Todd Bonzien’s Success Story!

Todd admitted to Seneca Place in July of this month under the care of Dr. Aftab Ahmed. During the course of his stay, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy were initiated to efficiently and effectively identify Todd’s unique needs and tailor specialized treatment plans to successfully transition him to the next level of care. Our therapy team provided skilled interventions to address the adaptation, compensation, and restoration potential of Todd, and coordinated with his interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate clinical care areas were addressed. On July 28th, Todd successfully discharged back home!

Todd says, “The rehab staff in addition to their professionalism cared about me both mentally and physically. They listened to me when I thought I was ready to progress to the next level and task. I can now stand, walk and smile! I started off bedridden and now I walk with a cane. I am proud of the progress that I have made because of the Therapy staff. My advice to other patients is to listen to the Therapy staff, do what they say. Again, the staff is Wonderful. They are the reason I am able to go home.” Congratulations to Todd and his Care Team on their success!
