Seneca Place is excited to share resident John Day’s Success Story!

John Day admitted to Seneca Place on June 27, 2023 under the care of Dr.Moutaz Al Nabhan. During the course of the stay, Occupational Therapy was initiated to efficiently and effectively identify John Day’s unique needs and tailor specialized treatment plans to successfully transition to the next level of care. The therapy team provided skilled interventions to address the adaptation, compensation, and restoration potential of John Day and coordinated with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate clinical care areas were addressed. On August 21, 2023, John Day successfully discharged to long-term care. The rehabilitation length of stay was 56 days. 

John was asked, “What do you like about your therapy services?” Mr. Day responded, ” I enjoyed all of my therapy! Therapy was well designed, and it was successful.” He was also asked, “What can you do now that you could not do before therapy?” He replied, “I can now get out of bed with help and read my newspaper.” Congratulations, John, on your success!
